Candidates must be sponsored by a civic, social, or fraternal organization, or a business; must be a resident of Port Arthur, Port Neches, Nederland, Groves or Sabine Pass for at least one year; and be of 12th grade status the first day of the fall semester and certified as such by her high school counselor or principal.

Each princess shall select her own escort. He may be a brother, cousin, best friend, etc. He does not have to be a senior in high school. If he attends college out of town, you may need to find a replacement escort for several events.

All duchess candidates must reside outside of our local area and must be of 12th grade status the first day of the fall semester and certified as such by her high school counselor or principal.

All princess candidates must be sponsored by a civic, social, or fraternal organization, or a business (with approval of the cavOILcade Director). All sponsors receive recognition at various cavOILcade events.
